I consider myself a die hard aviation fan and even centered my career around it so far working for a company that sells Fuel Systems for most commerical airline engines. My favorite commercial airplane at the moment is the B787 dreamliner because of its jump in technology. The composite materials used on the fuselage, the new GEnx engines, and the wide wing span all contribute to its high fuel efficiency. It just feels like the culmination of decades of aviation technolog all coming together.
